AMG Mercedes-Benz contracted Winters Rock to connect their brand authentically with millennial audiences through big wave surfing culture. Leveraging the influence of legendary big wave surfer and brand ambassador Garrett McNamara (HBO’s 100FT Wave), we developed a three-part strategy including establishing Portugal's first big wave surfing competition, and creating the Red Chargers branded website, promotional apparel, gala awards event in Lisbon, Portugal, feature length documentary, and a television series.

The "Red Chargers" documentary, produced in UHD/HDR, garnered multiple festival awards, critical acclaim, and along with the television series, was prominently featured on DirecTV’s premiere UHD channel, significantly raising Mercedes-Benz's profile within the target demographic.
